Eddie Williams hit .252 with 39 HR and 150 RBI during his ten year MLB career playing for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Eddie Williams was a member of the 1985 Cedar Rapids Reds team that finished in 3rd place with a record of 78-61 under manager Jay Ward. Williams hit .261 with 20 HR in 199 games for the Cedar Rapids Reds.
