On May 6, 2003, Jarrod Washburn (1995) pitched a complete game to earn the win while striking out five and allowing one run in the Angels 6-1 win over the Indians.
Washburn has compiled a mark of 107-109 mark with a ERA of 4.10 entering the 2011 season pitching for the
Angels, Mariners and Tigers. He currently is a unsigned free agent.
Jarrod Washburn was part of the 1995 Cedar Rapids Kernels team that finished in 3rd place with a record of 76-62 under manager Tom Lawless. The Kernels fell to Peoria in the first round of the playoffs that season. Washburn was 0-1 with a ERA of 3.44 in three starts for the Kernels. He struck out 20 batters in 18 1/3 innings of work.
